Wolf in the Fold Remastered FX question.

This is for folks who have the Blu-ray set for TOS season 2......

My player has an icon that shows when the episodes have multiple angles of any given change made from original to the Remastered FX.

When watching Wolf in the Fold the angle icon comes on when they are showing 'Redjac' on the monitor screen and oddly in the brief shot of Spock and Kirk on the floor of the bridge working on one of those lower consoles 'grates'

I have watched both scenes in both versions and can't see any difference in either.
Neither shot is anywhere near the usual 'orbiting' shots'---so it isn't a case of being a slight overlap to one of those remastered shots.

I can see how they might have wanted to enhance the 'swirls' of Redjac on the monitor, but i can't for the life of me guess what they did to the other shot of Kirk & Spock looking through the grate opening at the innards of the console.

So, I'm sure there are folks out there with better eyesight than mine who might be able to see what was changed in those two cases.

I have the blu-ray set, but I have not had time to watch them. Perhaps, they updated the 'equipment' to make it look more modern. Like they did for Norman's tummy panel in I Mudd.

Yeah, i thought of that but I can't see any difference.

Perhaps this is another mistake, similar (but opposite to) the City mistake where both angles of a tricorder closeup have the new effects? In this case, both angles have the original effects.

I didn't see the new version on TV, nor do I remember how the original version looked, so I'm just guessing.

I can't even get that function to work on mine. I can't toggle between old and new effects. Not a big loos, but curious.

I noticed the same thing when it aired; it didn't look like they changed a damned thing.
