Norman Lovett's probably getting on in age too, but it gives me an idea: they could say that the Starfleet computer decided to get a sex-change and cast someone like Lovett or Simon Pegg or Alan Rickman (a la Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy).May Majel rest in peace

Is it possible that there's enough in the way of voice-recordings for them to create a simulation of her voice for future projects? (Is this something called "voice sampling"?)
If possible, it'd be an equally great move to still use her for any new lines spoken by the computer.
IS it possible?
We have 2 weeks before the trailer for Trek XII is released.
We may know then if thy used Majel's voice for the computer in that film. If so did they make a library of her voice to use for all Trek because if they did that would be awesome continuity and a great connection always to Roddenberry.
Would a different female voice matter? It wouldn't be cheaper in the long run after the next 2 Trek series in 20 years. Once built a library database could be used for decades since it would be digital.
You mean the final trailer? There have been three already! Here's the most recent:We have 2 weeks before the trailer for Trek XII is released.
