Windows 10 Cortana

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to put this in, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to remove Cortana from Windows 10? It is an annoying program that seems to re-insert itself back everytime I try to delete it. I don't like that Maybe in time it'll be something interesting, but I don't like how it seems to be forced onto your desktop.

click on the start, bar, click settings, turn it off

I was going to say to install Windows 7 instead, but that works just as well.

You can disabled the search bar/hide it. Switch off Cortana and it's just like it's not there.
