Hey all! I finally got my netflix movies the other day and
I was just wondering if any of you had happened to watch William Shatner's "Invasion Iowa" series? Any thoughts? Like or dislike the series? Think it's pointless or a waste of time? Just curious.
Personally I think that Shatner is very creative and seems to be fun to be around(although he can sometimes act like a pre-madonna sometimes!). I got a lot of laughs out of the show itself..but am only on disc one of the series right now.
Thanks for all who share..see ya around the board! :D

Mrs. Hambone and I watched it together when it was originally broadcast. We both enjoyed it quite a bit; especially the "finished project". Shatner's association, and subsequent "bonding", with some of the people of Riverside was heartwarming.

It was one of the few "reality" shows that I watched from the first episode to the last (I'm not a big fan of the genre). I enjoyed this one, though.

I also watched this when it was originally broadcast. I enjoyed it at the time but wouldn't buy or rent the DVD to see it again.

I haven't seen the series, but just want to nitpick:
It's "prima donna" not "premadonna" although the latter was an amusing spelling.
As you were...

Why, of course I'm familiar with it. The wonderful Brooke Lemke starred in it, while Shatner played her love interest. That alone makes it worth watching.
