Here’s the video clip of Patrick Stewart asking her:

SHE SAID YES!!!!!!!Longer clip on YT:
"Please say yes"
I wonder if they'll try and de-age her through CGI, or come up with some rando explanation why someone from a species which doesn't age a day for centuries ages suddenly over the course of two decades.
I suppose they could just explain that El-Aurians go through a period of rapid aging immediately prior to their terminal decline? Though this would conflict with both her parents being alive and healthy while TNG was on.
SHE SAID YES!!!!!!!
Starting to feel like Discovery all over again.
How so?

If this show continues to be a character study of Picard, who better for him to confide in than Guinan?Cramming fan service in every nook and cranny.

I did not want Picard to become a reuinion show, but I felt she was always a character that might belong in it. She and Picard have a special relationship, not entirely understood by the audience, even though its stated to exist. Guinan also does factor into some of the decisions that led to the events of this series, especially Hugh.Cramming fan service in every nook and cranny.

Looks like he already has a confidant in his head with Data.

I'm just wondering if the show is going to have anything original to present when all is said and done. I understand wanting to spend a season getting one's feet wet, but to keep going back to the well is going to get tedious, just like it has on Discovery.
