Will SFA Season 2 Actually Air?

You keep missing the point when you bring up Willow. That show completed its run before it was removed from Disney+. Your entire stated point of this thread is SFA not airing at all. So stop using Willow as an example. It’s not relevant. Again, you don’t want SFA to air because you don’t like it.

Admit it. Move on.

Air or not air the tax write off would be the same I believe. So it shouldn't matter when it comes to the final figures. It doesn't really matter if it airs or not.

The whole thread began with you questioning whether it should stream or not...

I was wondering if Paramount will actually air season 2 or not. Is it worth to air it or take a tax write off.

Yeah. Should it? Right now we got a solid ending to season 1. Season 2 supposedly ends on a cliffhanger. Do we really want that?

Almost feels like goal posts are shifting.

See above.

The old goalpost trick. Interesting.

I don't know? Star Trek: Early Voyages ends in the middle of a story and is something I still reread often. So, yeah. If its been produced, I would like to at least sample it.

As far as it goes, if they were planning on not streaming it, I doubt post-production work would continue.

But wouldnt a ending with a cliffhanger bother you? Shows that have ended on cliffhangers in the last are still sources of frustration for me when I think about them.

No. If it ends up being a banger of a story, it could fuel fans imaginations in a way that Trek hasn't for a very long time.

But it will always be unfinished. If the didbt release it we wouldnt have to be frustrated fir all time. The second season had a final ending that while not really good at least had ended that particular story.

No, we really wouldn't. You might, but you don't sound like you like the show very much so it shouldn't really matter.

Besides, I imagine Pocket (or whatever they're calling themselves these days) would come in with someone like @David Mack, @Dayton Ward or @Greg Cox to write a novel covering whatever plan was there for season three to wrap up the story.

Kirsten Beyer would be appropriate.

But ill probably end up watching it because its live trek. So another show without a proper ending. I say they need to just take a write off and save on that as well as savings they would get from any streaming costs that normally take place. Why have a season of trek with a cliffhanger? It serves no purpose but frustration.

I really don’t understand this logic. You really don’t seem to have any interest in this, so much so you’ve started a schemy thread to try to gain interest in it not airing but you’re going to watch it anyway?

You do you, I guess.

If it gives you nothing but frustration, choosing to watch it really isn’t anyone’s problem but yours.
