I'm simply wondering if anyone else thought it was terrible writing. You don't need to delve deep into every subject. This was simply written in as filler.

Worf fell in love before. He was romantic. Cute? Perhaps too cute. Terry Farrell put her sitcom chops to work. And they were physically well matched for one another. Unfortunately, Trek has had few good representations of marriage, this being perhaps the best.

I don't particularly like Worf and Dax as a couple, but that Klingon wedding ceremony is a fun piece of ritual, especially with the drums.

Didn't have a problem with it. The only coupling that I thought was questionable was Ezri and Bashir, apart from that I thought DS9 handled their relationships pretty well.
