Likewise, whatever happened in the new star Trek film changed history and ERASED all the events of TOS, and of the events of the following series-

How so? Enterprise C was sent back into the rift so the timeline where the Klingons were destroying the Federation would CEASE to exist.
It stands to reason a changed history in the new film ERASED the timeline of TOS we all know..
