why do temporal police just not care?

^ I doubt they would be bitter against the DTI for not doing anything. The DTI, remember, does not actually travel in time. They only deal with others who do, if necessary.

I've said this before and I'll say it again for the benefit of the OP newbie: In both instances on VOY where the "temporal police" were featured, it turned out that they were in fact responsible for the problems they were trying to fix. So obviously after realizing they were doing more harm than good, they completely disbanded the whole time cop thing, which is why you'll never see them again.

The novel Watching the Clock does touch on this...

The Department of Temporal Investigations (in the 'prime' timeline) know about the Abramsverse. They have determined that it will eventually reconnect with the original timeline, but in the far, far future. They basically are leaving it alone.

There is no referance to the Abrams timeline at all in that novel. Christopher explains as much here.

I'm afraid I don't remember any referances, passing or otherwise. A few explanations about how alternate timelines work, which could be applied to the Abrams timeline, perhaps, but that was too generalized and vague to even be considered a passing referance.

Because the entire idea of temporal police was stupid as hell. Another lame idea that VOYAGER introduced that they ended up ignoring with its own series finale.

Actually it was a brilliant idea, though used for comedy when they were introduced, but when there comes an era where time travel becomes more commonplace it makes sense to have a temporal "agency" of some sort. I honestly don't think they are able to "act" on much of what they do, but it still makes sense for them to acquire information. I would think they could only interfere in the worst of disasters.

because Spock rewrote the temporal prime directive when he was in the past, so the future TimeCops leave their new timeline alone

BTW, Lesko hangs out in my neighborhood - sometimes the Starbucks on Ellsworth. And he wears his question mark suits and sneakers just walking around town. Seriously.

Well, just consider them as "Temporal Police", not "Dimension Police"

Even when Nero did time travel via black hole, but actually he traveled across the dimension. So, let us consider the JJ verse as a world that Temporal Police doesn't exist.

Why? Well, easy. That's because Vulcan was destroyed in JJ verse, the grand-grandfather or mother of the founder of Temporal Police were dead, making this group become non existence in JJ verse.

All the adventures that Kirk and crew went on in the Roddenberryverse. Will take place in the Abramverse.
