They were both attractive, I just though Ezri was kind of awkward and never got used to her. She was much better in "The Dead Zone."Yeah! On that we agree! Ezri wasn't as attractive but she was infinitely more likeable.

Don't forget their early work, Oceanborn and Wishmaster. In my opinion some of their best work.Yeah buddy! Love it all: Ghost Love Score, Romanticide, Nemo, White Night Fantasy, Ocean Soul, Bless the Child... all great stuff!
Jadzia did sometimes enjoy toying with or pushing buttons-she moved Odo's stuff around, interfered with Julian trying to land a date with Leeta, and had a bit of a playful if somewhat jerky attitude.
She also could indeed be arrogant or aloof.
Thing is Sisko put up with it because he was buddies with her hosts predecessor. A lot of her antics would not have been so tolerated with another captain in charge.
Yeah. BTW I'm going to see them at the Tabernacle in Atlanta on March 9. Can't wait!!!Don't forget their early work, Oceanborn and Wishmaster. In my opinion some of their best work.
Do happen to think Jadzia’s the cutest of all the Trek series chicks. Think she’s hotter than seven, Pilar(vulc chick from Enterprise) and way hotter than Troi.I think the reason people really hate on Dax has less to do with her caliber as an actress than it does the writers implementation of decent story line. Sure her acting was pretty poor at times especially in long drawn out romantic goodbye scenes my god. But the writers didn’t really know what to do with her as a character. She was supposed to have a really cool backstory the episode they made about her past lives each cast member assuming an identity just kind of sucked. Then she was supposed to be this very intelligent science officer but came across as a very lame version of cute/comic relief. Sadly I think the only thing jadzia added as a character was sex appeal. She had a promiscuous past, captain boday, her whole lesbian thing. Even that didn’t work because it’s Star Trek I/we as fans expect more than typecasted hottie. The funny thing is she left the show for Becker which I don’t think people are willing to admit but it really embittered a lot of the fan base. We were stuck with several episodes of Ezri. Garaks summation of Ezri says everything I want to about that character as well.

I do recall Ezri bringing this issue up to Worf and sarcastically saying everyone on DS9 was her lover or something(my memory of the scene is foggy).I strongly disagree with calling Jadzia "promiscuous". Remember, just because you can binge-watch in a week or two, the events of the show are spread over seven years. We don't actually know that anything beyond dinner happened with Boday. There might have been something with the fire dancer guy at the bachelorette party. We know nothing happened with Bashir except dinner. Even if all the "possibles" were one-night stands, that's still not very many over the course of three years before she was married to Worf. If I knew a woman who had a one-night stand each year, I wouldn't be raising my eyebrows at her or calling her promiscuous.
No question as we would have been spared all of the 'awkward Ezri' stuff.I liked Jadzia enough to say that I think season 7 could've been a little bit better if she was around.
I'm surprised that Jadzia's popularity is in question and not Ezri's. I feel like Ezri is the one who a lot of fans dismiss. I liked Jadzia fine but I preferred Ezri. Probably because in her first appearance, her difficulty fitting in with a pre-established group, imposter syndrome, and uncertainty of her identity and purpose felt very relatable to me. Like a mid-life crisis, kinda.
