Sorry for the interruption but I am going to post something about the original topic.
I don't mind the new round board. I think it is kind of cool. But they made way to many changes to the rest of it. I might buy it if they brought back the original paper money and the metal game pieces. The paper money was what made it fun.

Speaking of that, oh so American game, It wasn't until recently (within the period I've been registered here) that I found out that you have VERY different game pieces than what come with the game here!
Of course it's all streamlined plastic today (the shape has changed over the years) but we've always played the game with pieces in the shape of cars!
Somehow that always seemed perfectly logical to me -I mean; how would someone get around town in a top hat or an iron?????

i'll be honest, i dont believe i've ever played a full game of monopoly... as a kid i always got too bored by the 3rd time around the board. as an adult, i havent played it, nor do i have any desire to. my sister got me a Nintendo Themed monopoly board years ago, it is still sealed.
