Hi, new to the board and though I reckon this gets asked a lot thought I would ask anyway.

Who is peoples favourite Voyager character?

Have to admit mine is Tom, he's just so cute.

Love Janeway as well though!!

Hm.... since I'm supposed to vote, I'm voting Janeway. She is a great Captain, has a strong personality, is very feminine and has got a wonderful sense of humour.

You've got to love crazy Kathy... for all her insanity.

I generally love the whole cast, but my fav has to be Chakotay. He's my dream man!

Agreed. Voyager is the one Trek series where (Chuckles excepted) I genuinely like all the characters...but those two I like just that bit more.

I don't know who my fav is- it is a toss up between 7 of 9 and Janeway. All I know is that never have I cared so little about the male characters of a Trek show then Voyager. Though I like the Doctor and sometimes Tuvok, the rest are kinda boring to me.

Seven is my favorite. She was just a kick ass, take no B.S. kind of girl. Plus she's pretty too. :thumbsup:

I like all of the characters to some degree. The problem was quite a few didn't get much screen time devoted to them. Chakotay was a prime example. I liked him when he was in command of Voyager and was able to do his own thing (Unimatrix Zero for example).

Akiraprise, yeah, I liked Seven too..but I sort of felt put out with her sometimes cause I thought they had picked her just so that the ratings would go up.

Also, love your avatar by the way..that's from the ep "Dragon's Teeth" wasn't it? Liked that ep.

I also loved the Doc-he was so much like me that it's not even funny!!! I loved his personality subroutines(HAHA!) and his dry bedside manner.

Also liked B'ellana Torres cause of her temper. She sometimes felt like exploding somewhat and I knew how she felt. I feel like doing that sometimes myself.

Also..Neelix. His personality is alot like mine as well. He tries to cheer alot of the crew up even though they're like: go away, you silly bar rodent! I try to cheer people up when they're down as well..and sometimes I get a "go away" look from them instead of "oh thanks, appreciate it". Oh well.

Janeway and Tom (though not my favorite pairing). I like all the captains best, actually; must be a power thing.

I also like Seven, but I thought her character was even more schizo than Janeway. Sometimes Seven knew everything the Borg did, sometimes she didn't (the hub in "Endgame," for example). She was often clueless about how to get along with people, other times telling others how to get along ("Nightengale," for example). The was the solution to the plot problem too many times--really a misuse of a great character and actress.
