Who's In The House? (SPOILERS)

^ That's probably true. Be nice if he can be visted by 11 now and again. Dunno how they'd deal with the Donna thing, though... Maybe we'll find out when we see her next.

Unless he's limited mostly to scenes in or around the TARDIS. One of the more interesting "companion" relationships was with an incarnation of the Master from "Scream of the Shalka". This Master was actually trapped inside an android created by the Doctor, programmed to be unable to leave the TARDIS or do anything to hinder his nemesis.

And Wilf's confirmation as a two-shot companion is confirmed by Davies! http://www.gallifreyone.com/news.php

Oh yes, that was great.

(really menacing voice) I am the Master and you-- (Doctor enters) --will come to like me.

Waiit, I don't know... I mean... They wrapped up Donna's story, granted it wasn't the best one but it just proved that the Doctor always ends up alone, and it was very powerful.

No, you thought they wrapped it up. There's a big difference.

I've no doubt that come December once DWC airs and SFX and DWM run interviews it will turn out that CT was signed up to return even before she finished S4. (If only because she's a very busy woman who's schedule is full well in advance.)

If they're going to have her in the specials at all, I really hope she doesn't get her memories back, and I hope they don't find a way to fix what happened to her.
To undo the ending of "Journey's End" would destroy the emotinal impact and tragedy of what happened to Donna - which was arguably the best thing about the episode, in terms of drama. They already brought a companion back from an apparently permanent fate when Rose returned, which did, IMO, sort of diminish the impact of the series 2 finale, but I can let that go because it helped to tie the story together. However, doing it again so soon after just smacks of uninspired, gimmicky writing, and cheapens everything they did with Donna's character.

I really hope you can see that, StCoop, and that you aren't letting your Donna Noble fangasm cloud your judgment.

And still nine months to go!

I'm thinking the that these might be her final scenes (and the reason why she doesn't start travelling with the Doctor again). It'd be a nice bit of narrative symmetry; when we first meet her she's about to get married and when we last see her she finally does.

Yeah, that's all a woman really needs anyway: a man.

Martha will back me up.

It a noble Doctor Who traditon! (Pun intended.)

Anyway big piece of breaking news, though no photos to confirm it yet:

John Simm is shooting scenes at Sarah-Jane's house.

I hope that also means Sarah Jane & Luke are back, god those two were great, not to mention Mr Smith & K9, they should have a spin-off ;)

Tennant, Tate, Simm, Sladen and Tommy Knight (Luke) have all been at Bannerman Road this afternoon.

So it's "Everyone & The Kitchen Sink - Take 2" after all.

Damn.

god help me I may die of fangasm, if this is true, no sign of the Torchwood cast however.

and I had a feeling Lady Christina was a jewel thief. There was the museum and then there was rumor about a jewel and Ryan in Mission impossible type attire

nice one with the Kitchen sink take 2 Stcoop. Although I heard the sink is a bit of a diva.

I have feeling he won't resort to such cheap tricks ;)

Well he'd already run out of new ideas by this fourth story so you never know.

Anyway having read some set reports now it does appear that today's shooting was for two different scenes and might not be as bad as first feared.

The one featuring Sarah-Jane and Luke seems to be a very brief cameo with the Doctor saying his final goodbye to her (for this body at least!) and an unconnected one featuring Donna and the Master was shot in a nearby alleyway to avoid having to set-up at two completely different locations. In fact the Sarah-Jane and Luke scene is Episode 18 Scene 153. The Verity Newman scene was Episode 18 Scene 155. Numbers which would indicate they come pretty late into his last episode.

Sources at Twitter say that Sladen and Knight's apperances with Tennant are part of Tennant's final scene as The Doctor. Is Sarah Jane the last person to see Tennant's Doctor?
