True that, but I figured if I just pay him well enough, and listen to he's talks, the chance of him turning on me would be smaller perhaps. Though I kinda IS more backstabbing and dangerous than any Ferengi or Romulan,, he's quite charming though, can't help but feel for him,,,, trying not to sound too gay hereI personally would pick Gerek (DS9), I've always liked that character a lot, and I honestly think, that he'd be the best to protect you from assassins n stuff.
At the same time, I'm sure that he'd be one of the best assassins himself

that said, I'd rather have Kira. the way she brought Damar down was something to watch. Spock would be my choice as well. I'd spend HOURS with him trying to learn the neck pinch and teach him a thing or two about emotions

I am just watching DS9 though yet again, and I watched the episode where Quark becomes the Grand Nagus (for a while), and somebody (forgot his name) comes up and says that he'll protect Quark.
Well, that got me wondering, who, from all of Star Trek (except for those with "super powers", like Q), to choose as one's bodyguard.
Well, who'd you pick?

Data. He's not my favorite character, but he'd be a perfect body guard. Intelligence, strength, speed, reflexes, no need for sleep or food, and nice to be around.
