Who Mourns for the Gorn?

Where have all the children Gorn?

Long time ago...

So, I gave The Gorn Crisis a read tonight and found it suitably enjoyable. Then I went over to Memory Beta and found that the Gorn have never figured prominently into a single Trek novel, ever (according to Memory Beta anyway). What's up with that? Anyone else like to see a novel that delves into Gorn culture? I know they're insular, but still... being so popular, I would have thought they'd get some lovin' in at least one novel.
You'll be glad to know the Gorn were featured prominently in the first issue of IDW Comics' Star Trek Aliens series, where the command crew of the Reliant got stranded on a Gorn planet. Very good issue, by the way.

I think we've all Gorn and lost our Vulcan minds. Trill anyone restore some sanity to the proceedings?

Is it causing you any head Tribble?

Meh, I'm starting to get Borg with all of this.

BTW, I'd be interested in knowing where at MB it says this...

It doesn't say that exactly. I looked at the Gorn entry and it only mentions these works:

Starfleet Command II (Video Game)
TOS Comic: "Dying of the Light"
TOS Novel: Dreadnought
TNG Comic: Gorn Crisis

Accordingly to the listing, these are the only materials other than the episodes to elaborate on the Gorn. At least, that's the impression I got.

Though I just remembered, CoE: Where Time Stands Still does give a bit of info about their mine technology and laws.

There's far, far more information that's missing from Memory Beta than has been incorporated.

^Memory Beta is horribly under-updated, though.

Well, that's why I appreciate all you good people here! For someone like myself, my only resources for this kind of info are Memory Beta and this place. I know no matter how hard I work, I just can't become as knowledgeable as some people.

Also, is there a reason more people don't update a site like Memory Beta?
