VOY era Seven of Nine. I can relate the most to her. She's suddenly thrust into a world of humans and their emotionally driven lives, and she's singled out and ostracized until she gives in to pressure "reclaim her humanity" as though it's the universe's most cherished gift to be human. Like her, I just want to eat my daily nutritional ration and set about to make the world a more efficient place to exist.

Saavik is my favorite “should have been” character. There’s not much to her onscreen, but the version of her in Vonda Macintyre’s novelizations is fascinating. If people were open to another Trek series about a specific main character, I’d happily watch one about an (obviously recast) Saavik, and her quiet ethical conflict in balancing her post-movies Starfleet career as Captain of the Shangri-La, with a secret personal long-term mission to discover and hunt down the Romulan parent who abandoned her on Hellguard, and then to decide whether or not to kill them.

I couldn't get through the first episode of Prodigy so I can't list anyone from it, and with Discovery I chose Saru pretty much by default. Scotty gets the TAS spot not just because I like Scotty in general, but also because Doohan does so many voices in the show I think he needed some recognition.
