Who else would like to see "Prime Directive" for Trek XII?

Any other fans of the Reeves-Stevens "Prime Directive" here?

It's a fantastic TOS adventure that would have been an excellent film with the original cast.

Now that we have this new cast, though, there's a chance such a fantastic story could be brought to life as a film.

Thoughts?

Since there is no idea how this one will do I'll wait to see the numbers before I think of a Star Trek XII. However I don't think there will be any movies made form the novels, I don't get that feeling. We'll see though won't we.

haven't read this one yet...making my way through the vastly unfilmable Shatnerverse...but I'd love to see them try doing one of the better epic novels, if only to guarantee that this would be BIG, like a MOVIE, and not a TV show.

That said, there's no way it could happen, I'm sure. They will want to write something new.

Ew...no. I like the Reeves-Stevens a lot, but that book was just a folly, imo. It seemed too implausible by Trek standards for it to really work.
