Yes, the great blackjack and hooker purge was a dark day.

Well that will teach me for not checking this site for a few weeks!

I'm going well. Back in Australia. Though I'll be in Europe June/July.
These days I'm all about the rugby. Full on obsessed. Actually it is the genesis of my Euro VayCay. I have a tournament in AMS in the first week of June.
I don't watch much these days. I didn't even own a telly until a few weeks ago when my partner moved in. I was leading a complete hipster lifestyle! Lol

So The Age of Susannah was The Golden Age
    Ours was The Silver Age...

Does that make the 2003 Boxing Day massacre our Crisis?

Also that ends my knowledge of anything comic related.

    [/SIZE]
Also randomly related I thought of LizardLaugh of all people the other day. I was trying to remember some friend-of-a-friend who lived in San Deigo and some gray cell matter brought up the old memory of her once living there (school I think?) And she once ran a naughty toy business.

Why do I remember this but not stuff that happened last week?!?!

^because memory works better in young people and hence data your brain saved at an early age will be stored more solidly than recent data.
Makes sense since at an early age we learn the basics (language, motorical control, behaviour and social rules, info necessary for surviving) and later we just learn refinements of that data but hardly anything completely new.

    ^young?
    Oh you're so sweet. I'm 38 now!

You might remember, one member, some poor kid who was from Brisbane (Australia) but his parents shipped him of to his Grandmothers in Ontario (Canada). He was a bit of a troll at times, but i remember i chatted to him on messenger a bit and he was really only lashing out at a messed up family situation. He really was a nice kid once you got you got to know him. I think his username started with C. Lol. I don't know why but I've wondered whatever happened to him.

    Onto happier squee stuff though!

Im glad to see you Verteron well and happy! You where like one of the ones I really, genuinely did get along with super well and whose cyber company I really enjoyed (in the non-creepy way), even with the scheißesturm that EFCL became! Lol i think we had some good times circa a long time ago! Lol

I'd love to see what Temis the Vorta would think of Discovery. I imagine our opinions about it would be pretty similar.

Well it's been like a month since I declared myself 'back' and am still here and posting most days. Does that mean I'm actually back rather than just doing another new year fly-by? Time will tell I suppose.

Heh that was both so much fun and so much unfun. I am still a little cut up about how the EFCL ended (or rather, we all brought it to an end), but there was just too much drama. I couldn't deal with it then, and could deal with it even less now. C'est la vie. Nice to see a few survivors still posting away here in the big blue mothership though.

Saying that, anybody know what happened to TerranBBS and thoses that inhabited it. I recall it was a lot of the Golden Age of TrekBBSer (I was a Silver Ager joining in 2001/2002).

{{{{{Robert}}}}} : ) The original suffered a minor malfunction that disabled the whole board and since the owner didn't mend it in over 2 years, we simply used an old backup to create a clone, including KellyZ Korner. Just follow the link in my sig :)
