Sisko- he punched Q!
Kirk- gotta respect the classic
Pike- I liked Bruce Greenwood's portrayal & think this character could really go somewhere given decent writing

My personal favorite as a character is Janeway followed by Sisko, then Kirk. But STD solidified Pike as the best captain in my mind. Any and all of the captains we met are able to sacrifice their lives for the greater good at any time; but only Pike was able to accept a fate worse than death, in the line of duty.

So, he runs off, half-cocked, just to prove to them humanity is capable only to stumble at every turn. Got it. Archer's decision to do this himself was all on him.

I do wonder if recency bias is pumping up Pike’s numbers a bit.
