I also vote for P2. It doesn't take as long to get into the action or to show old pussy face (though I can understand why P1 built up the suspense before doing so). Glover was a slightly odd choice for the lead, even in the absence of Arnie, but at 6'4" and looking pumped, he's a decent replacement for the Austrian Oak. Then you have a great supporting cast in Gary Busey, Adam Baldwin and Bill Paxton.
Getting to see the Predator unleashed in an urban setting was a cool, if obvious way to sequelize the original and the (then novel) nod to Alien was nice.
I think the Jamaican gangsters make it though. 'Keeng Weellee sez not oanly do I 'ave to kill you, but I 'ave to take your soal.' 'Fockin' voodoo maageeck mon!' etc.
Still don't know why there hasn't been a proper P3 (the AVP doesn't cpint for me, not unless they make them 18s and bring in a director of the Cameron/McTiernan/Scott class - or even the Stephen Hopkins class! He's not in the same league as those three, but is miles ahead of Anderson and the other AVP hacks.
