Which Ultraman?

I was at a con years ago, and saw a bit of an Ultraman show where a spaceship opens up on him and apparantly blows him away... the alien leader says your guardian has been destroyed or some such... anyone know which series this was?

That From The Movie Ultraman Tiga & Ultraman Dyna Warriors of the Star light.
Tsuburaya released in in joint with Image back in 2000. I purchased it from Media play just when I was starting my undergrad degree. I am holding the VHS in my hand right now.
