Compared to other Trek costumes, they are loose-fitting. Compared to real-life work uniforms, they are too tight.
i always thought the "possible near future" uniforms resembled a compromise between the classic TOS shirts and the 24th Century uniforms (what with the distinguishing line between the shoulder area and the lower torso and all)
... perhaps they'd have been better suited as a "transition uniform" between TOS and TNG (instead of TWOK-TUC uniforms, continuity-wise)

what about the early TNG spandex? that certainly wasn't loose
I would have to go with the DS9/FC uniforms, although Picard's jacket in season 5 was awesome.
