For women: the uniforms from TOS, of course.

For men: None of the above. I'd prefer NASA-style coveralls that aren't a few sizes too small, as they are on ENT.

Too small? If anything they seemed a little large and loose fitting on the actors to me.

Personally the Enterprise ones were my favorite followed by the TNG-Movie/Late-DS9 uniforms. Third would be either Late-TNG or TOS.

1. Late DS9/First Contact-Nemesis.
2. Enterprise uniforms of the slightly lighter blue variety (season 2 onwards).
3. TWoK-TUC era.

This was one of the harder polls, since I don't think Trek ever did a truly bad uniform. Even the pilot episodes uniforms were, for their day, pretty high concept.

I selected TWOK era as my favorite, but they were all pretty good.

I can't pinpoint a single runner up, because I thought so many were really good. The only I really didn't like too much was the early DS9/Voyager.

Compared to other Trek costumes, they are loose-fitting. Compared to real-life work uniforms, they are too tight.

what about the early TNG spandex? that certainly wasn't loose

I like the TMP uniforms for their variety, but the look of them is a bit off. Like, I would not be caught dead wearing them.

In terms of visual style, I like the FC/Late DS9 uniforms the best.

I always found the TWOK uniforms a bit silly... it's like if the whole crew of a modern ship suddenly decided to all wear dress uniforms no matter what their job is.

i always thought the "possible near future" uniforms resembled a compromise between the classic TOS shirts and the 24th Century uniforms (what with the distinguishing line between the shoulder area and the lower torso and all)

... perhaps they'd have been better suited as a "transition uniform" between TOS and TNG (instead of TWOK-TUC uniforms, continuity-wise)

As long as they made the pants less "Retirement home" and more "Normal pants"

DS9/FC. There's something cool about them - functional but they can look imposing.

Second choice would be the ENT jumpsuits. Quite practical in theory, though you hardly ever see the crew using the pockets :p

Close third would be TWOK-TUC. They're very smart and I suppose regal in a way, but they look a bit too much like a dress uniform for my tastes.

The TMP Loveboat uniforms and the possible future ones never struck a chord with me.

I think the possible future ones wouldn't be so bad if the pants weren't so ridiculous.

I went with TWOK-TUC first. I've always loved the aesthetics of that whole era. A very close second was the First Contact/Late DS9 era. I remember being very anxious for those new uniforms to come into use on DS9 after seeing First Contact. I always kind of hoped they would be adopted on Voyager after they made contact with Starfleet, too. Third is the Enterprise-era. As much as I disliked a lot of the other stuff on the show, the uniforms were pretty good.

I've never really cared for the possible-future uniforms. They look very bland and unappealing.

I would have to go with the DS9/FC uniforms, although Picard's jacket in season 5 was awesome.

TWOK-TUC era. They look like real uniforms.

However, I love the new JJ TOS uniforms.

I loved the late DS9/FC uniforms the most out of all of them, though the WOK-TUC uniforms are a close second.

However, I LOATHE the 'near-future' uniform we see in All Good Things, The Visitor, and Endgame. The pants are WAY too high up.
