I have to echo some sentiments already put forward with uniforms.
For practicality the ENT uniforms as they have pockets, good for a working uniform and a realistic progression of what NASA and Submarine crews wear (I also liked both versions of the SeaQuest uniforms for similar reasons). I didnt like the way the Phase pistol holsters stuck to their legs though, they should have added dedicated equipment belts similar to the MACOs - another example of them sticking to TNG?DS9/VOY thoughts.
TWOK onwards is a very good dress uniform for officers, similar to those on BSG, they should have had regular trousers however and if I were in charge of 'rebooting' these costumes I would change the trousers and probably loose the undershirt and give them the same neck design as the BSG jackets.
TMP, hated the look of the all in one uniforms but the 2 piece works, with some changes to the colours they would probably be pretty comfortable but Id get rid of whatever the gadget on the front was supposed to be. I would mix the styles a bit more, give the female skirt/dress options again, this could be a casual style as apposed to TWOK uniform.
ST 2009 look really good, nice refreshing take on the classic uniform but making it more practical, undershirts for one and equipment belts with pouches replacing the "velcro your away team equipment to your waist band" method TOS had...tried it as a kid and they must have super velcro in the future lol!
