In Germany we have the problem that TOS is not so popular that it would justify the publication of more translated TOS novels. I regret this together with several other German die-hard fans. The novels just don't sell well enough. It's a shame.

It's good that you made multiple options possible!
With that, I expect the run to be between TNG and TOS. If there would have been only one choice, on this forum I'd bet DS9 would win. Really an interesting conondrum.

That's interesting. Did Trek not become popular in Germany until TNG, or has the popularity of TOS just waned over the years?

Kind of weird that we haven't seen a German character in Trek. You would think that since the producers like to have a diverse cast and since the shows are popular there it would be a natural fit.

ENT is still my favorite out of all Trek series. I don't see this changing anytime soon.

DSC, however, is probably my second favorite.

TNG was always the pivotal element in Germany, just to quote Cross Cult Verlag. It never reached popularity accordingly. It is always treated as an orphan on German TV. Other shows are favored. Cross Cult also said that the novels of all of the shows don't sell well currently.
