I wont even dignify this with a vote.
If badass means ham-fisted overacting then Shat-Kirk wins.
If badass means going after the bad guy, then bucking StarFleet's top admiral, Pine-Kirk wins.
The first point is unfair, the second point is puzzling. "Bad ass" is something one admires, finds cool or great. Do you admire people that take unneccessary risks, leap without looking? My vote is for Abrams-verse Kirk played by Chris Pine. Compared to all those amateurishly choreographed fights Shatner's Kirk got into back in the '60's, Pine's Kirk seems to take a lot more physical punishment in these last two movies. Another factor is that Shatner-Kirk's decisions to go against orders were usually well thought out, while Pine-Kirk has more of a spur of the moment, "Ah, screw it mentality".
When Pine/Kirk grows up he will be as badass as Shatner/Kirk.
The correct answer is Kirk Cameron. Neither Shat nor Pine dabble in banana wizardry, and banana wizardry is the most badass thing since the harpsichord.
NuKirk kicked the shit out of the warp core. It fixed it.
Shatkirk would never get visibly winded hitting khan a few times in fact he whipped his ass
