Blasphemy. William Shatner is never boring. Even when he mutilates Space Oddity and Iron Man he is still the best, and Chris Hadfield is just jealous.
Pine, the actor, I seriously doubt that he will be able to sit on a chair and recite some politician's tweets with that absolute class Shatner has.

William Shatner has forgotten more about being Kirk than Chris Pine has learned yet.
I think he channeled quite a bit of Kirk even in the first movie.
Shatner. His Kirk took on V'Ger -- a formidable adversary that had his ship in a bind and was threatening to wipe out Earth -- without blinking.
In real life, too. I can't imagine Chris Pine asserting himself quite as Shatner does in this terrific clip of His Imperial Majesty turning the tables on a naive, hopelessly-out-of-his-depth director:
[2020 EDIT: In retrospect, Shatner sounds like an egomaniacal ass here, even if he manages to stand his ground -- while walking all over the poor producer -- in an entertaining, if still obnoxious, way.]
