Which is the best episodes that focas on Kes?

"Fury" is the best Kes episode, of course!

....Just kidding. "Warlord", "Before & After", and "The Gift" are the essential Kes trilogy for me. I also like when she begins to experience her powers in "Time & Again" and fights for the Doctor to receive better treatment in "Eye Of The Needle." I used to love "Cold Fire", but I really don't care for it anymore.

Best Kes episodes are "Cold Fire", "Persistence Of Vision", "Warlord" and "The Swarm".

In "Cold Fire" and "Persistence Of Vision", Kes uses her powers to save the ship. In "Warlord" her body is taken over by a hostile entity but she continues to fight against it and finally breaks free with the help of her friends.
In "The Swarm" she comes up with a brilliant solution to save The Doctor.

"Elogium" has some good scenes with Kes, even if the story is a bit thin and makes the Ocampa look weird.

"Time And Again" shows Kes's starting to be aware of her powers and "Before And After" is an interesting, but a bit weird episode with flashbacks of her early life.

There are also good Kes moments in episodes like "Caretaker" (I love her speech to the leading Ocampa Toscat), "Parturition (her discussion with The Doctor about Neelix and Tom Paris is hilarious), "Projections" (when The Doctor thinks tha Kes is his wife), "Tattoo" (when she plays a trick on The Doctor), "Phage", "Learning Curve" and "Jetrel". She also plays an important role in "Scorpion".

I like the way she saves the day in 'Persistence of Vision.' She's fantastic in 'Cold Fire' with her abilities on supercharge - so creepy with that scene of Tuvok - eyes 'boiling'! It was sad, like bittersweet when in 'The Gift' she is so strong she is a danger and has to leave. Frankly most every episode she was in benefited from her lovely voice. I was sorry to see the character go because she represented innocence but for her species a growing maturity. Like a pixie becoming very powerful. Just this empathetic nature. Plus it was because of the Ocampa Voyager stayed in the Quadrant and she was a reminder of that.

New Persistence Of Vision" & "Warlord" (where she was great) & Scorpion where even if she wasn't present in all scene, Kes really did a lot to keep protecting Voyager's crew by her actions.. About "Fury", I don't know what to think. This episode was so strange. Sorry but I prefer to forget it so much it was an insult to Kes and Jennifer Lien!

Meh, Warlord...an alien entity takes over someone's body yet again show. The episode was okay, but I really dislike that premise in sci fi. I think it is even worse than the constant disturbance in the time space continuum stuff.

Kes makes a very good supporting cast member, especially in her interactions with the doctor, like in the swarm. For the episodes that actually focus on her, Before and After is one of my favorites. She also does really well in Cold Fire, Darkling, the Gift, Fury. I don't care for Warlord, and don't ever watch it.

I don't care for the whole powers thing, which are pretty vague. I think she would have been better without powers. The storyline in Cold Fire with the other Ocampa being deceitful, and the other Caretaker and all that was sufficient without the powers angle, i think.

Maybe substitute technology for magical powers.
