The Troicorder is the most useful, obviously!
The Troicorder is brilliant. It can scan people's minds absolutely any time you like — unless the person happens to be hiding something important, in which case you either get "very unusual" readings, or the Troicorder has to lie down, or the Troicorder just isn't anywhere to be seen at the time and no one thinks to find it.
The Photon Troicorder is a rubbish weapon because you only get to fire it once and then she's gone.
Then again… if you eject someone into space without making sure they're dead, they'll probably be back in a couple of seasons' time.

I wonder... Do children in the future still ride Troicycles? Do they still study Troiangles in math? Have they developed technology so that babies can survive even if born during the second Troimester? Does France still have the same flag, or have they replaced the Troicolore?
