Where would you live?

I want to be a colonist making my way on a new planet, the way that early settlers did in the US. A newly terraformed colony or a newly found world. I'd like to do that, settle down with a family and a new world.

or maybe the dominion homeworld swim in the great link and drink some of it see if it tastes like chocolate or whiskey

Well, the first time Lwaxana appeared, she mentioned how odd it was that humans don't say what they feel (the implication being that there was no point hiding your intentions on Betazed since everyone can read them anyway).

Maybe Lwaxana is just pushy and tends to pry into other people's minds without asking. Doesn't she seem like the type who'd do that?

She definitely seems like the type of person who wouldn't care about dipping into people's minds whenever she feels like it. Hell if we're to believe her about Picard, then she doesn't care if you know or not.

I'm sure she's not the only one of her species to be like that as well. Not labeling the entire species like that, but there's always a few.

If I needed a break, I could visit Bajor but it's not very exotic. It looks just like California.

I do so love a stroll on the promenade. And there's this secluded place I know in upper pylon 3....

I'd live on the Enterprise. That way I'd be moble and could see it all.

Planets are nice places to visit, but I wouldn't want to live on one.

Upon further consideration, I think I might like to spend a few seasons at Starbase 11 (I love the work they have done on the "Court Martial" re-master.) I had said Vulcan before, but maybe that would be better saved for winters there. On SB 11 there is something I have always loved about those soothing pink and purple skies and multiple moons, especially the big one with rings. That and there seem to be a few interesting nearby star systems and clusters that make for some impressive stargazing. Maybe even during the day!
