Prodigy is the best of the modern Treks.
I still like SNW more, but PRO is head and shoulders above the rest of streaming Trek.
I'm not going to go into specific series BUT...
I think in general, they should put a live-action Star Trek series on a higher profile streaming service, like Netflix, where it would be easier for more people to watch. From there, they have to be at a point where they gain more new fans than they lose old fans.
Moving Prodigy to Netflix is a step in the right direction, but they need the huge splash of a live-action series created specifically for a larger streaming service.

I agree, but doubt Paramount is going to do that. They've invested too much in P+ being "the home of Star Trek."
Maybe they should cut their losses and move their shows to another network. Not everyone has the content to sustain their own streaming service
I think New Trek should turn 18 and move out.
If you want to count the Kelvin Films, it turns 18 in a few years. Can't believe I just typed that. Where has the time gone?

There's no reason to expect another service to be nearly as interested in crafting further Star Trek at this time, let alone the smorgasbord we're still receiving via Paramount. I hear you, but I'd caution against any (potential) hope that we'd see even one continuing series this decade, let alone three, if Paramount Plus folds and somebody else picks up the bill.
Granted, things don't look too dire in that regard. I think the fact that both Picard S3 and SNW S2 appeared on Nielsen's Top 10 Original Series lists several times makes further Star Trek production in the short-term more attractive to potential buyers than, say, a certain chart-wielding warrior around here might want us to believe. But, you know. Year of reckoning for streamers and all. We knew it'd happen, and here it is. With all the cost-cutting measures going on, who knows, Netflix could scoop up everything P+ has produced, then say no to making more.
I'm rambling, but it's because I'm deliberately avoiding acknowledging how old I feel thanks to Garth's post.
I seriously doubt there's a script. Maybe at best, an outline.

Romulans vs. Doomsday machines with suprise takeover of Starfleet HQ at the end by Klingons led by Khan
Into Oblivion with humans, Vulcans and new aliens chasing a device that can reset or remake the timeline.
Space Pandemic featuring new characters and maybe a cameo by McCoy.
George Kirk actually beamed off the Kelvin and was stuck in the buffer for 30 years but Jim finds him.
Tarantino's Pulp Fiction Trek of Shatner Kirk, Pine Kirk and Patrick Stewart's Picard in intertwining stories on the TOS gangster planet.
The Section 31 TV movie, set to shoot as soon as the strike ends.
Whatever's next... let's hope they actually make it!
