We cut to the Enterprise rounding another orbit of Delta Vega. That globe never looked better in TOS than right here and now. A piece of Courage's theme that I still get chills listening to.
The Chief Engineer is slotting a control panel into place. Jestures to a crewman. He crosses to the Navigator position, sits down and hails the surface.
Scotty: "It fits like a glove, Captain."
Intercom voice on Kirk's communicator on the planet below
"Oh, did Mister Spock get the phaser rifle we sent down?"
