Spoilers Where is Admiral Janeway?

aeverett

Lieutenant Junior Grade
Red Shirt
Seriously, her name has been brought up several times this season and I have to wonder if this was just a name drop or if Janeway will play a role in the finale, even if only mentioned in a piece of dialogue. Do you think we'll ever find out what happened to her or Tuvok or any of those the changelings kidnapped and replaced?

Being saved for a big reveal in the finale, I assume.

Dave Cullen on YouTube said there's a mid-credits scene in the final episode that fans will want to be sure to see; I wonder if she'll show up then?

you don't wanna know

Tim Russ has said he's in two episodes of Picard, we've seen one, so presumably Tuvok appears in E10.

Matalas said Janeway wasn't appearing, but we also have seen Matalas do a little fib now.

he doubled down on no Janeway last week so I’m not expecting to see her. He also knocked down Sisko, so the Emissary ain’t coming thru that door to help either.

I think he's giving us a white lie about Janeway. If he isn't that's fine, but my guess is she does a cameo at the end of Episode 10 when Captain Seven of Nine takes command of the restored Titan.

Tuvok will appear I think, when the fleet is liberated and rush to the Cube (where the Enterprise D will go, after they liberate the fleet) to save the Enterprise D and stop the cube.

Sisko was never going to appear. Avery Brooks was done with Star Trek in 2015. He doesn't even do conventions or documentaries anymore because he's over talking about a gig from the 1990s. Getting him back for a cameo would require him changing his views on Star Trek and his career.

Agreed, it doesn't make dramatic sense for Sisko to appear (or the Pah-wraiths, either), but it is not unheard of for an actor to change their mind, if the right project comes along down the line.

Denis Lawson said he had no interest in the Star Wars sequels but still showed up so it could happen. I don't think it will though.

She is probably dead, so is the real Tuvok. Big reveal of the last episode: all starfleet officers above the age of 25 got executed.

The thing about her being exclusive to Prodigy etc, by name dropping her at all, saying she's involved with Frontier Day etc, kinda contradicts that as it still gives Janeway a position in the universe some 17 years after the events of Prodigy. You'd think if she was completely off limits they'd be limited to past tense references like those from Seven in earlier episodes.

There was Mulgrew's whole "you'll have to tune in to Season 3 to find out if Janeway makes it to the chateau" from ages ago too. Either the answer is an anti-climatic "No", or she does turn up in some capacity.

I assumed Mulgrew was speaking figuratively and didn't literally mean turning up at Picard's house, but maybe that's exactly what happens in this supposed post-credits scene.

"Jean-Luc, you've become part of a bigger universe; you just don't know it yet. I'm here to talk to you about... Project Phoenix."

If she's not in the finale, then I am going to headcanon that she went back to the Delta Quadrant and settled in on that planet inside the Folgers Nebula.

In fact, here she is, having assumed a new name (at the behest of Q, go fig):

Dang Caretaker had a greater effect on her than what anyone realized at the time...

We will not.

He story is told elsewhere...with stories and songs to celebrate!

A shame Mrs Olson never belted it out... But do try to ignore the sound effects, especially if you'd just woken up and hadn't drained yon bladder yet, which reminds me:

It will likely never get mentioned again - This era of Trek is all about cameos from OAPs so they aren't going to remove that.
