Spoilers Where is Admiral Janeway?

I thought there was something within the past month where someone asked about Borg this season and he answered something like "with the exception of Seven of Nine, there will be absolutely no Borg at all in season 3."

That is what I remembered as well, but I cannot find a quote.

The Borg Queen and Admiral Janeway have a history. The Queen might have told the drones to hold off on killing Janeway until later so she can see the horror of Frontier Day, not unlike how Chancellor Palpatine made sure Yoda felt the deaths of other Jedi first before ordering his execution.

Based on the fact that this is the Borg Queen last seen at the end of Voyager, I assume Janeway will be namedropped at the least. Although if she did show up, having borrowed Voyager from the Fleet Museum and has the Borg Queen flipping out, I would love it

Would be cool if Janeway did that actually. She basically beams a photon or quantum torpedo into the Queen's cube and 'boom'.
Would be nice if Janeway was at least mentioned that she managed to get Seven and Raffi out of the Titan, to the Fleet Museum, get Voyager (and maybe the Defiant), and went to track down where Jack ran off to.

But like I said, probably ain't gonna happen.

She already did that in Unimatrix Zero of sorts when she tried guilt tripping Capt. Janeway into convincing the resistance drones to stop fighting... and Janeway fooled her.
In Endgame, the future Admiral Janeway was betting on the Queen assimilating her (along with the Pathogen) so she could inflict maximum damage.

We can thank Icheb for the pathogen. I think this was the same pathogen he naturally produced.
Just much more deadlier when assimilated directly by the Queen at the unicomplex... one Borg cube being infected and disconnected from the Hive is fine, but its not an efficient solution... the thing would need to be delivered to the Queen herself to see the effects being widespread through the collective.

she is likely a prisoner or a drone on the Borg cube alongside Tuvok with other key personal that has been replaced.

I'm not so sure.

Janeway was never stated to have been replaced by a Changeling - and its possible she saw it coming and ended up taking necessary precautions to avoid being captured.

It was also never explicitly stated the Changelings knew they were working for the Borg.
For all we know, Vadic and the others only had interactions with the space floating head... but otherwise, they might not know it was the Borg specifically who were issuing orders.

As such, the Changelings may have hidden the replaced personell at a different location rather than the Borg cube.

Who knows, maybe this is how they'll wrap things up: the Changelings will be so pissed at being used by the Borg that they will help the Federation end that threat and then will wiillingly withdraw.

They aren't allowed to use Janeway because she's on Prodigy apparently.

Allowed? There is no "allowed". Paramount owns everything, so any show can use any character. There's no legal issues preventing Janeway from appearing in PIC. If she doesn't, it only means they didn't want her to.

I think they meant Paramount asked them not to.

Oh. OK. I can buy that. (At least they mentioned Janeway, so they're clearly paying attention.)

Like the rumors about a live-action California-class ship turning up on PIC. There's no legal thing preventing that either, but if Paramount asked them to dial it back, I'm down with that.

Now then, just a thought on the Janeway being a Prodigy exclusive thing.

TM has said on twitter that the Queen is the one from Endgame... what if the future Admiral Janeway from Endgame is still on the cube. She was still there at the end of Endgame, right? Or did she fade out like Marty McFly? Matalas might be considering them separate characters.

Though, tbh, I suppose it might be a little hollow having her, and not the real Janeway as well.

It has nothing to do with legalities but rather since Picard takes place after Prodigy, it's felt that showing Janeway on Picard would be a spoiler for Prodigy, so they aren't allowing it on those grounds. Though I'd argue the multiple references to Janeway on the show already is a Prodigy spoiler anyway thus rendering the matter moot.
There are at least 2 after/mid credits scene similar to Avengers: Endgame
Endgame didn't have mid or post credit scenes. At least, not the original release. A theatrical re-release did insert a deleted scene in the middle of the credits and the opening scene from Spider-Man Far From Home at the end of the movie.

She's in command of the Starbase holding out under the borg fleet attack. The borg are trying to get through 50 warp cores and 200 fusion reactor based shields.

In First Contact when the timeline was changed, The E was still in the past, despite the future it came from not existing so I think The Borg Queen's theory over a timeline never existing erasing someone in the present is flawed.

Why would a star base have a warpcore? Let alone 50 of them?
Well over at that other star franchise their space stations go faster than light all the time. Ironically enough despite the multiple Death Stars and Starkiller base, I don't think we've ever seen an actual shot of a Death Star traveling through hyperspace, not even in the Legends video games and comics (someone feel free to correct me if I'm wrong).
