I was fortunate enough to spend a month at home in Waco, now it's back on the road in Florida again. It looks like I'll be spending the majority of next year in Hawaii.

Just came back from four and a half days in three states -- one for a Harry Potter conference and festival, one to visit my godmother whom I hadn't seen in almost 50 years (she lived in another country most of that time), and one to visit a cousin.

A day trip to Stockholm with my husband to visit the Abba Museum. Tried to do it in August but the crowds were huge and we didn't have the time to spend an hour or more to get in during the season. Thankfully cruises from Helsinki are cheap. The cruise cost less per person than the tickets to the museum.

I have unfortunately only only been to Finland by technicality, as I was on Åland for about an hour.
I might also have landed at an airport in Helsinki on my way home from China, but that doesn't really count.

Hope I might be able to visit WorldCon in Helsinki next year!

Vi trivdes jättebra! (We had a great time.) I'm a Swedish-speaker so Sweden (or Stockholm at any rate) is sort of a home from home for me. WorldCon is on my bucket list too.

I haven't left the Nebraska/Iowa area in over a year.
