Where do you live?

I live in a lovely one bedroom apartment nestled in a beautiful wooded area between two small suburbs of a rather large city. I am also a stones throw from work and several major business centers but far enough away that the noise of the city is kept to a minimum. It is perfect place for me at the moment. Next year, I hope to buy a house.

I live in what is just about town center. But it is a very small town, so the center isn't much at all.

In a riddle, wrapped in an enigma, wearing a "Proud to be Dell" shirt.

I live in the north of town. This area used to be farmland and rolling hills until about 25 years ago. It's still got lots of trees and there are hills surrounding our development. Just a couple of minutes walk and we are into countryside and just a 30 mins walk the other way and we are in town. I really like this area of town and wouldn't want to move.

I live in Delaware, just north of the canal. To be perfectly honest, since most people know nothing about Delaware, I wouldn't bother giving more info unless someone needs directions to my house.

To be less jokey:

I live in a medium sized town about two miles from the Interstate, in Southwestern Ohio,
in an apartment complex with an upstairs neighbor that tends to have what sounds like wrestling matches at 3 AM, and a downstairs neighbor that set her bed on fire last night.

Ooh, the joys of communal living... just wonderful. Sorry J.Allen!

My upstairs neighbour, who lives in the loft apartment, which has an improperly insulated wood floor, thinks it's super to walk around in high heels throughout the small hours (since he/she is about 6 foot and sturdy, you can imagine the racket)... what she's doing walking so much at that hour is beyond me, perhaps she practices her Nazi marching?

As someone who apparently lives beneath the Steiner Brothers, my answer is yes, it must be Nazi marching. It just baffles me how people forget in these places that there are others living below them and above them. It boggles the mind.

I live in a combination residential/business area, about five minutes from the beach and ten minutes from Quincy Center in one direction and Downtown Boston in the other direction (in the rare event of no traffic).

I live in Sector 1 of Bucharest, Romania. I like saying I live in Sector 1 because it feels like I'm in a Sci-Fi movie or something.

In a galaxy far, far away, where people do not miraculaously all speak the same language whatever convenient communicator technique they use.

In a part of London which as seen a 30% increase in Burglary over the past 3 months.

I Must move!!

Hugo - it's a lovely house with lovely friends though...

I live in the Syracuse University Hill area . . . myself and my roommates are often mistaken for college students due to our age and location, but none of us are in college

I live in the 'burbs, inside of a massive homeowners association that's smack dab in-between D.C. and Baltimore. In other words, flamingliberal's version of hell.
