Where do you live?

I'll also have to see if my bf's coming up for the con - I'm sure he'd be interested in seeing Montreal, too.

Cool, well if he can, I'll take you guys to the Orange Julep. Nice place for a date. It just means I'll have to convince a certain someone to join us so we can double. :D

I live out in the middle of nowhere, and I miss Chicago. :(

I know what you mean...I was living on the Corner of Michigan and Roosevelt (Could have seen Obama's speech in Grant Park from my window) when I decided to move to Denver this Summer. I signed my lease out here and moved in. The next weekend I flew to Chicago for a wedding in Lincoln Park and it took all my will not to move back immediately. I'm planning to go back when the lease runs out.:techman:

As for where I live now...Downtown Denver, apartment. Walking distance to bars, grocery store, parks, and the state capitol. And 20 min drive from the mountains. It's a great spot, but I'm restless in such a small city...

In a rural area about 5 miles from our family farm. In the winter, I only have one neighbor, but in the summer, I have another (seasonal cabin). I'm on a protected river with a wildlife refuge across the way, so at least I don't have to worry about suburban sprawl. But the property taxes are a killer.

I live just outside the ring of Eindhoven, which is about 1.5 km away from the city center.

I live on the edge...

...of town/country. So one window view is of never-ending fields and trees and sheep, while another view is of never-ending bricks and concrete and asphalt. :)

So how is that one classified? Am I country or suburbs?

I live on the northwest corner of San Francisco, a block from the headlands over the entrance to the Golden Gate.

I live in the Northwest Atlanta suburbs.

You couldn't pay me enough to live inside the perimeter. Too much noise, too much traffic, and too many annoying people....most of whom you can find parking in front of your house and ruining your lawn.
