Only one of those that looks good is the final one. Everything else looks cheap and not fit for modern TV.
CG render does not hold up to the miniature shot from DS9.

For that matter, the hand phaser looks like a predecessor of the bulkier weapon from TSFS that later shows up as a prop in "The Final Mission."
But again, numerous spinoffs before have made zero attempt at "reproducing the TOS look", until they felt it was time to show Kirk's ship - at which point they showed the TOS ship. Nothing is different here. It's just another not-TOS spinoff with resources to burn, filmed in not-1960s, that's entitled to showing the TOS ship just like all its predecessors.
Not that there'd be anything wrong with Starfleet having ships looking like the TMP one in 2256. It's just that Kirk's ship doesn't look like that at the time. And while we don't know exactly what it looks like (we only know the 2254 looks and the 2265 ones), the whole point of showing the ship would be to imitate.

Given the direction and special effects in that last episode, I really want the Constitution class to make an appearance. Yeah, I still want it to be updated, but damn it would it look amazing.![]()
so far like Discovery, but if they ever show a Constitution class ship, and it looks anything different than this, I'm going to flip the table and quit!
I too would like to see an updated Constitution to fit in with the Discovery aesthetic.![]()
Imagine Batman today looking as the 60's....
If they use a Constitution Class....reimagine it!
Imagine Star Wars today looking as in 1977...
If they use the Millennium Falcon... reimagine it!
It’s not like it’s an iconic design or anything.
It will surviveBut that bucket was already old in 77.....it was the joke in all the movies...old bucket!
Eh the new ones are different!
The TOS Connie can't return as-is because of 2001. I'll explain why I think that in an overly long rambling series of words. The new ones are exactly that. New. And even then they didn’t really redesign them much. And in Rogue One they used exactly the same old '77 ships.
