Same year for me, but with TOS re-runs on the BBC between TNG seasons.
1970s, pre-TAS, syndicated reruns. Love at first sight. 
The premiere of The Next Generation, just before I turned 5 years old, my two older brothers and I became big Trek fans.
My oldest brother was already a fan, from The Wrath of Khan, and we’d all seen some reruns of The Original Series, and The Voyage Home, but it didn’t all really click for us until TNG.

1990. 6 years old. Mum sat me down to watch something she knew I'd love. A new version of an old show she used to love.

Exactly the same here. It had enough to engage my young mind and had a lot of layers that I explored as I matured. Really just a great TV series, clearly my favorite ever.
The 1960s. I have dim memories of my dad and I watching STAR TREK on NBC. He would sometimes let me stay up past my bedtime to watch it with him. Then, of course, the syndicated reruns aired over and over the whole time I was growing up, until I practically knew them by heart.
Later, the TOS movies came along just as I hit college and discovered organized fandom and conventions. TNG and that whole cycle of Trek shows came along several years after college.

I was taken to see TFF in the theater in 1989 but wasn't a fan yet. We got a VCR in 1990, my parents bought TVH some time around New Year's, and watching that is what made me become a fan. It made me want to go back and watch the previous movies and re-watch the fifth one.
Renting "Encounter at Farpoint" scared me off from TNG, and I wasn't interested in seeing any more of it until I found out Spock was appearing in an upcoming two-parter.

90's but just TOS and TNG reruns. Never got into DS9 or Voyager.
Not sure how to vote. I'm a Gen X'er so really TNG onwards are "my" Star Treks and my love of it, BUT, I can well remember seeing Kirk fight the mugato (which made me hide behind the couch- cliche I know) when I was 5 and watched and fanned to TOS repeats in the 1970's when I was a little older then started to watch the movies from '79 on. But of course once TNG came along... 
Started back in the in the sixties. I recall an article about Trek which I came across shortly before the show first aired. In Popular Science or Popular Mechanics.
