The last role she was good in was as Meryl Streep's daughter in Robert Altman's A Prairie Home Companion. A year later, she was already coming off the rails when she made some incoherent blog post after Altman's death. A shame, really... she used to be quite hot, and had talent to go along with her looks. Seems that she's squandered them both.

I think Lindsay is heading down that same Dana Plato/Anna Nicole Slide of No Return. She's gone too far, too fast with NO indications of slowing and no one around her to apply the brakes. Some of these train-wrecks, especially the Anna Nicole kind, you can see coming years in advance.

It is sad, I think a lot of us would fall just as hard when we we're young and had troubled periods but had millions of dollars and fame to fuel it. I'm pretty sure I'd had turned out a righteous bastard if I had the resources to do anything I wanted instead of being forced to build a modicum of character due to circumstance.

Recent photos have shown it looks like she's been cutting her wrists, just looks really unhappy. It's too bad because around the time of Herbie and even her SNL appearances she looked really good, she made quite a sexy Hermione Granger.
