When did Geordi find time for a family?

Picard mentions the name Leah in AGT. Maybe Geordi went along with it because his former captain was approaching senility and wanted to preserve his dignity by not correcting him. Geordi mentions that she just became the Director of the Daystrom Institute (which has moved beyond AI and has developed superweapons in Picard. Curious, that).

I suppose Geordi's feelings for Dr Brahms earned him a certain notoriety that even the captain picked up on and filed in his brain.

The twist is we are going to find out Picard is the dad. Picard had a fling with Leah Brahms. Geordi is mad at him for sleeping with his wife. Wait until Worf finds out who is Alexander's real daddy.

Turns out behind that stoicism was a player. The final episode is going to have Picard take on the baddie with the bridge crew being him and all of his kids. Jack Crusher,Wesley Crusher, Alexander, Sidney, Alandra, Bret, Kestra, Soji, Gabe and somehow Lal.

You know, that's actually a good point.

Geordi does say the name Leah at one time, but Picard says it first. Geordi could have just decided not to correct his ailing friend.

Not really. First Picard as a show isn't popular enough that most will care. Most people won't remember her as a character or even care about the drama because, well Geordi just isn't a incel. Many people actually like those episodes. TNG has gotten some deserved flack over the years for things like not having any LGBTQ character and "Code of Honor" and some deserved behind criticism over RIck Berman but the Leah Brahms really does feel like a "Baby it's a Cold Outside" were people are really looking to hard to find problematic behavior. It is possible to over De-Construct old tv shows and movies. A few people will complain as usual on Twitter but in the end nothing will come from it.
I agree but that doesn't stop people from calling him one on reddit and not being downvoted but often the opposite.

I care.
Because Doctor Brahms and Commander La Forge were built up as pairing in three TNG episodes already. And I am used to the idea since they’re careful coming-together aboard USS Challenger in “Indistinguishable from Magic”.
It doesn’t feel right to now pair Geordi up with a random, hitherto unestablished woman. The kids clearly aren’t Haliian.
The movies do not have to follow any of the books

I mean they don't really have to do anything. They can say his kids were cloned by Vulcan nerds who were fans of the Enterprise adventures that were also from the future who felt bad he died in the original timeline all alone

The question is would it be fun to make her the mom of his kids. Does it make sense as a possibility if you do it or does it feel like a stretch. Also can we get Susan Gibney to come back for a episode. As a fan of those episodes who felt that had good chemistry with each other and also was implied in "All Good Things" as to have happened to him in that future then I would love for it to be true.

If it's not then that would be okay. Would feel like a missed opportunity to me, especially as this is the TNG swan song for the crews so a little extra fan service of that nature seems to make sense. It's basically now or never with the actors getting older. But it doesn't mean it will ruin the episode if she isn't in it. Only the writers can do that with a bad script.

The mother is Anij from Insurrection. After Picard ditched her to go back to Crusher, she got together with Geordi instead.

Honestly, I don't really care who Geordi's wife turns out to be. But as much as this season is being about nostalgia and *ahem* fanwank, of course it's got to be Leah. Why else would you name the kids the same as they did with AGT?

That being said, they could play it coy and not go to any length about if it's THAT Leah. There's lots of Leahs in the sea.

Geordi had a bad date, in the Booby Trap, then he's so sad that women don't get him, that he makes a hologram of Leah Brahms, and makes out with her.

Next year in Galaxy Child the real Leah Brahms shows up, sees the hologram, and cries rape. She eventually believes Geordi that it's all innocent because he is a good liar just this one time.

All the way later at the end in the last episode, and also 25 years into the future, senial crazy Picard says to Geordi "How are Leah and the kids?"

Meanwhile earlier he had something going on with Aquiel, but that was a shit episode, so I don't care, and she was only banging him to get a promotion, and he was too thick to enjoy being used by a beautiful woman, so there is zero chance of Aquiel flubbing her birth control while frakking some shlub she does not respect.
Ah yes, I had forgotten about Aquiel.

Leah doesn't really count since one was a hologram, while the real thing had no interest in him at all.

Maybe he and Christy Henshaw fell back in love after falling out of it after a few dates back in the day. Or maybe even Ro Lauren. They had a fun adventure being invisible that one time.

1. Geordi married some one in the future called Leah.

2. In Voyager's Last Episode, set in the future, Holograms collected the civil rights to marry human beings.

So Geordi ends up marrying the Leah Brahms hologram. Then they adopted their children.

It still could be flesh and blood Leah Brahms, or a crisis actor, or the kids could be holograms or salt vampires.

If Geordi can't match wits with a human being female, odds are he'd have to set the personality of his holowife to remedial, which means that he's not married to a sentient hologram, he's just misusing a tool.

2. Huh, so Geordi is a Nijikon? Well, I dunno. But marrying a holograms feel like we are marrying an anime character that equipped with ChatGPT. Well, if he can be happy for that, then it's okay.

The problem is that Leah Brahms is a real human in Star Trek 24th century universe. Not an anime character that is purely a fiction. So what do we feel if, our image is being used by another person to satisfy their fetish? Like being used as a BDSM object, or to satisfy somebody fetish of unethical behavior?

How do you feel, if your face, your body, your appearance to be used by somebody else as a sex object in the holodeck without your permission? Or maybe worse, they use it for their sick fetish. Like torture, mutilation, etc. Or maybe they will doing the worst. Putting an emiter to your hologram, then Use your holodeck image to rob somebody. Or doing another criminal activity without your knowing.

In our real world, it will straight to go to the court. Because it is an act of abusing human right.

If Geordi is using Leah Brahms image in holodeck, equip her with visual emitter to make her able to walk outside the holodeck, and then marry her, I think it is basically disrespecting the real Leah Brahms. He should creating Sailor Moon hologram instead and marry her.

Well the thing is in the case of the Leah Brahams hologram is if she were declared a self aware living being then she would have rights as a individual that would be equal to Leah Brahams the human. So even though she looks like the human Brahams the human Brahams would have no say so as to what the holographic Brahams can do.

In fact we have sort of seen this with the EMH. If the EMH falls in love it means he should be able to love someone with sex even if Doctor Zimmerman had issues with that.

As for the porn stuff my theory has been that the computer can not recreate a 100% accurate representation of a real person. If you want you can make a Picard hologram that is naked but a naked holographic Picard would look nothing like a naked human Picard. Safeguards for privacy would be put in place which means at best is you can only create what amounts to a very detailed deepfake.

Generally speaking though future humans don't seem to have the same puritan type of feelings towards nudity that modern day people, or at least Americans tend to do. Even if they are conservative types for many issues they are basically hippies when it comes to that.

The reason why people felt uncomfortable with what Barclay was doing was he was recreating holograms of people he worked with. People he sees on a daily basis in the real world.

I don't see this as a victory for perverts (like me).

It's just confirmation that Geordi is the saddest man in the world.

We've already seen Leah under-react when she thought that Geordi was boning a hologram of her.

Geordi does not see like we see.

He sees swirling rainbows when he looks at people with his VISOR.

Shouldn't he cut out the middle woman and make his sex holograms look like the sexiest inhuman swirling rainbows, so even if "she" sounds like Susan Gibney, his light bulb lover looks like a melted on the pavement traffic light paddle pop to him, which is how other persons with normal people sight would see her, since Geordi is the perspective taking point, and he made her to see her how he sees women.

Ditto for the Salt Vampire?

Would Salt vampire magic Siren vision cooperate with his VISOR or are they completely incompatible?

I always assumed that holo-Leah was simply deleted once the real one discovered the truth. And that would be entirely proper, of course; unlike the EMH, holo-Leah is not sentient, just programmed to look and act that way.
