It's been thunder storms all day and evening it stopped a bit and has returned with a vengeance. Thunder was so loud a couple of times it made jump. Current degrees is 76.

We're finally getting a real monsoon storm, it started off with really strong wind a couple, and a short burst of heavy rain. The rain stopped for a little while, but now there's thunder and lightning, and a little bit of rain.

I was thrilled. I was afraid it would be even drier than last year, and we wouldn't get one. I remember when the monsoon was in early July. Gave a nice break from the heat, though.

We didn't get any rain, but we did get a bunch of thunder and lighting last night. One bolt appeared to have hit right in our neighborhood judging how loud and bright it was, and it scared the shit out my mom, me and both dogs. I won't deny I did let out a bit of yelp.
