Our low temperature at sunrise was 22 C. It is 40 C at half past noon, The high should reach the mid 40's. The same as yesterday, and the day before. More of the same through next week. The relative humidity is 31 percent at 40 C for a heat index of 43.6 C. Not perfect but OK with HVAC.
It's decent out today. Rather warm, but not overly humid.
95 F with a heat index of 107.

Frightening.
It has been holding at 113F for hours today with 22 percent relative humidity for a heat index temperature of 119.2F. It is supposed to be about the same or hotter tomorrow.Global warming is a myth.
Last summer we had a heat dome park over Houston for almost a week. It was brutal to be outside.
We usually don't get this type of heat until the end of July. I get to be outside tomorrow, it is my day to flood irrigate my property from the irrigation district. The walk to the valve I operate is a 1/4 mile. Then I have to make several adjustments to valves on my property to control where the water goes for the 14 hours I have the water on.
I miss when we used to get rain during the monsoon season. When we first moved to Az in the late '90s it would rain every few days, but since then we've gotten less and less rain. We should be well into it by now, but so far all we got was that little bit of rain I posted about a week or two ago.
Tropical storm/hurricane coming. We should get tons of rain & wind. Had a good rain today but only for a hour or two. I hope the power stays on, because I have to work on Monday.

This afternoon and into the evening the shit starts in Houston. Hopefully all this will be over with pretty much by this time tomorrow. Hopefully. Maybe.
I keep hoping my alien friends will drop in and pick me up and take me out of it, but I haven't seen their little UFOs around. As long as I have electricity, I'll keep posting. Right now it's nice. Maybe I'll go to IHOP for breakfast.
