what's your local weather?

I don’t know what’s going on. The sky is this weird blue colour, instead of the usual grey, and there’s this big, bright flaming orb in the sky.

I assume this is either some kind of Christmas miracle, or a portent of the end of days, but I’m not sure which. I guess we’ll find out over the next little while.

Overcast and raining lightly in L.A. We're supposed to get heavier rain tomorrow through Friday, so it looks like I'll be dreaming of a wet Christmas.

EDIT: Looks like Kraig beat me to it.

1:20 AM it is still 56F, the wind is gusting to about 50 mph. At least it is still warm in the house. I can't fire up the wood stove because the wind is blowing from the roof into the house through the chimney, and a fire in the stove would fill the house with smoke.

13.8c at 11pm Christmas night.... Brrrrrrrrrrr

Oddly on the way home from my niece's where they had a family xmas party and what I find funny is that despite it being Christmas night there's lots of traffic on the road. I thought most people wouldn't be out and about, or they must be shift workers or something

Maybe they were all on their way home from Christmas parties too, and wondering why so many people were out and about.

Had to burn a couple of ounces of propane, but I got the house up to 72F (22C). It did get to a low of 54 F. Haven't had a frost yet this year.
The wind is blowing still this morning, but not as strong as yesterday. It is currently 57F, cloudy and starting to rain again.

Probably. I'd be especially alert for drunk drivers on the road.
