What's Your Favourite Type Of Sandwich??

This was not the kind of thread I expected :o

Uh, I guess, something with a great bit of bread, very important to the succces of a sandwich. Add some nice cheese, red onions, salad, tomatoes, some alfalfa sprouts, some green pepper and spices and that's a damned fine sandwhich right there! Perhaps a little carrot to mix things up a bit :D

Last year I became a big fan of the cheese and onion sandwich, but then again only if it's made with decent ingredients, like what they used to make at the place I worked at last year.

But I still have a weakness for the good old tuna mayo, especially if served with peppers and red onion.

^ Good for you, less calories. You oughta' clean that brain out with a good brush while you're at it.

I love that too, but it doesn't make me very welcome in the evenings.

I just threw up.

Outside of my mouth.

A LOT

Maybe it's my frazzled post-on-call brain, but I think I missed something there... :wtf:

Same here at first. Then it all clicked, after a while. The guy has real issues, obviously. And he needs to see someone really good, and then he'd probably have to pay them extra for his crap.

I like vegemite sandwiches - with soy and linseed bread.

I had a weird experience with vegemite one time:
I was in Brussels Belgium and I was trying to buy some bread at this little bakery. The guy that worked there was huge, at least 6 foot four and full of muscles. Since Flemish is not my native language, and I just knew a little bit, I asked the guy "Do you speak-a my language" and he just smiled and gave me a vegemite sandwich.

A Cheesesteak.

Not a Philly one (I've never been there, although I'd like to), but a cheesesteak as served right HERE.

I eat at Katz's every day for lunch whenever I'm in New York. In fact I order a cheesesteak so often there that the waitress actually calls me Cheesesteak Man.

For the benefit of some of us, well, maybe only me, you'll have to clarify this.

Soy, is that this black sauce? -if so, what kind?

Linseed bread, I think I can google that, but please clarify!

Would Marmite (the original!) do?

But I still have a weakness for the good old tuna mayo, especially if served with peppers and red onion.
Peppers? -as in those red or green or whatnot ones?

Nothing, absolutely nothing, beats a Montreal smoked meat sandwich on rye from Schwartz's Deli.

See?

Well, this is true, of course.

Unfortunately we're not all privileged to be in Montreal all that often (though I will be up there on May 2 to tour potential hotels for the 2010 Gaylaxicon).

A BLT with black olives, a tiny bit of mayo, on sourdough.

Turkey and swiss, light mayo, with lettuce, on an onion roll.

Heaven.........
