What's Your Favorite Song of the Day?

Do you mean what is your favorite song right now, or what is your favorite among the songs you've heard today?

I rarely listen to broadcast radio. However, I just saw the movie Enchanted and cannot for the life of me get "That's How You Know" out of my head. I woke up with it playing over and over in my brain this morning. I'm starting to get concerned.

Nah, actually, I love the whole sequence - it's quite delightful. :)

Well, I've only heard about 5 songs today so far (on the way to work I got an annoying one on XM and backed up my radio to avoid it, therefore hearing a couple of ones that didn't suck twice)...but of the ones I've heard so far today, I'll go with Daughtry's Over You.

 Wow, I thought this thread was dead before it ever really lived. Thanks for the responses.

@ Sakrysta: Yeah, I know that from the Oscars. Haven't seen the movie though.

@ PKTrekGirl: Five songs? Really? I think I already listened to over one hundred songs today! I'm constantly listening to music. :) Don't know Daughtry. Will check it out.

@ Mistral: GREAT song!

It's 10:17 AM and I haven't heard any songs yet today. I don't drive so I don't really listen to the radio much. I rarely listen to music on my computer (usually only when I'm cleaning), and I don't have the need for an MP3 player. So really, the only place I hear music is on TV. I used to listen to music so much more often in high school. I don't really feel the need to anymore.

Won't die. I'll post in it. I've been downloading alot of new music lately and have slowly been listening to it.

Here you go. 4th track on the list is the one I was listening to. I think it's probably my favorite Daughtry song. :)

Not bad. Sounds like something that would play during the end credits of a big action flick. :rommie:

:rommie: Heh, I like this one. Is that a television series?

Well, I have been sorta on an obsessive quest for new music kick lately, as you might have noticed from the thread I posted last week.

So while Daughtry was on XM Flight 26 this morning during my commute, on my iPod I've been listening to all sorts of stuff...but mainly Canadian Indie rock.

They have some good groups up there. Too bad they don't get more exposure down here in the U.S. Most Americans think the best thing they got is Nickelback.

I tend to like music with alot of heavy guitar & bass and sort of a 'drive' to them. And male singers who don't screech like girls. Eddie Vedder is right up my alley. :D

Yeah, I noticed it. But I couldn't post – I'm only 24. ;)

Guess you wouldn't like The Cure, Morrissey or Placebo then.

I haven't heard that much today, but of the ones I have heard, Heartland by George Strait. I've also been listening to a lot of Madonna today with "Ray of Light" being my favorite.
