What's your favorite adult beverage?

I love Ketel One Citroen vodka.

Butterscotch rum and cinnamon rum are good too.

I don't really like champagne unless I'm having it with something else, like Coca-Cola.

I like sweet wine and dry wine for different reasons. Depending on what I feel like at the moment.

I like red wine. Drink a lot of that. Tend to go for an Australian Shiraz.

When it’s warm though, something pink and fruity takes its place. A frosted bottle is a pursuasive selling point.

Otherwise it’s beer. Lager generally.

If I’m out for a beer it’s gotta be a blonde ale. And at Christmas, after decades of subtle hints, I seem to get various Whisky treats. I also like Irish Cream like Bailey’s but I never think to buy it. I always have brandy in for cooking, and struggle to cook a decent curry without a G&T in my hand.

I also need to buy dark rum, not so keen on the white.

I wouldn’t say I had a favourite though, but I’m not really a big drinker.

Neat scotch. Room temperature and must be single malt.

Otherwise Irish cream with creme de menthe or amaretto

Hard liquor - Vodka but with orange or lemonade and a slice of lemon.

Cocktail drink - Margarita.

Dining drink - Sauvignon Blanc

Cheap Christmas drink - Sherry (and mince pies)

Expensive tipple - Sloe gin and real Champagne

Beer - Kilkenny

Hoppy IPA in the beer department.

Dry oaked reds (like a good Rioja) in the wine department. Or a New World Shiraz, but nothing too in your face.

I love cabernet sauvignon mostly, my favorite. I'll drink almost any type of wine, but I much do prefer my dry reds. I just don't care for anything sweet. I have never had any taste for beer or hard liquor.

At restaurants I do like ro enjoy a nice port while others are having dessert.

Single malts, also good blends like Monkey Shoulder, one of my absolute favorites is the Aberlour A'bunadh, at around 60% it is the best way to end an evening, huge sherry taste, big badaboom alcolol, peace and happyness.. the oldest and also one of the best whisky I ever had the fortune to drink was a 25 year old AnCnoc, just awesome.

A nice grain whisky is a Nikka Coffey grain, quite nice for a grain whisky.

Bourbon, yeah, I like it, also 'Murican whisky ;) Four Roses single barrel is nice for example, I like the Woodfort Reserve a lot, Elijah Craig, Jim Beam signature craft and some other stuff.

Rum, El Dorado, the 15 year old is great, the 21 year old is a tad softer and a taste explosion, also hilariously expensive.. also like the Angostura, abuello and other rums..

Korenwijn, a Dutch distilled goodness, no it is NOT a wine despite the name, a company called Zuidam makes a few good ones, also Bols hasa good 6 and 4 year old.

Jenever also Dutch, the British tried to copy it, they failed and ended up with Gin..
Zuidam makes very well made stuff, stored in casks like whisky and of various ages, some old Jenevers rival whisky in taste and complexity.

Grappa, me like!

Poire Wiliams, eau de vie, lovely stuff..

So yeah, pirate and alcolol..

Gin

Redd's Apple Ale (my favorite brand of beer)

Margaritas

Gin
(yeah, I know I already said that, but I like it so much I mentioned it twice :D )

Espresso shots are rather "adult." I can't imagine any kid enjoying that. But I know what you meant. :p

I like unfiltered, unpasteurized, bottle-conditioned ale. For the nutrients, of course. :techman:

Beer... ('nuf said)

(Though I do have an occasional Irish Whiskey shot ... or three)
