What's your favorite adult beverage?

as far as alcohol, Beer definitely.
And the great thing about that is we are living in a golden age of craft brewing right now. There really is no reason to be drinking inferior mass produced beer anymore. On the other hand, I saw a guy walk out of a package store the other day with a case of Natty Ice :ack: but I guess that's because it's cheap.

Coffee is my love though.

I like dirty martinis, with gin, never vodka. I also like sweet and dirty martinis when you use sweet instead of dry vermouth. I'm also a fan of Sidecars and Tom Collins.

Daiquiris? The type they serve in a Havana bar, or the squishy with rum they serve in hotels. If I’m honest I prefer the latter.

To me, a daiquiri is shaken and served straight up. I don't like slushy drinks.
The absolute worst was when a restaurant served me a sidecar as a slushy drink! :wtf:

Alas, for some, beer is not something to savor and appreciate; it's just a way to get smashed, and the cheaper, the better. :barf:

On the other hand, to many mainstream palates, craft beers are too flavorful/strong/thick/bitter/whatever, and they prefer something with lighter body and not such a distinctive character.

Very true. Sometimes it's just about getting blitzed.

I get that. Bitter IPAs don't work well for me. However, a lot of these craft brewers and making lagers and kolsches that aren't too strong.

Dirty Martini, extra dirty (don't hold back on the bloody olive juice)
Vodka Soda (with a wedge of lime) if I am feeling good, Redbull Vodka if I'm feeling bad.

And for non alcoholic beverages... Sarsaparilla. Yep I'm one of those people ;)

Coke Zero is interesting, I like it better than Diet Coke, mainly because it actually is what I thought Diet Coke was: Coke without the sugar. I never really liked Diet Coke, there was always something about it, and it took until much later that I found out it wasn't the same formula as regular Coke at all.

Yeah, it's weird that they didn't try to make Diet Coke have the same flavor as regular Coca-Cola in the first place. I love Coke Zero, or Coke Zero Sugar, or whatever they're calling these days.

Heritage Wine Cellars' "Sweet Country White" wine. I've never had a better tasting alcoholic beverage.

Beyond that... any drink, so long as there's some lime in it. Lime diet coke, (now ginger lime diet coke), lime juice mixed in with my diet sweet tea...

"From dead bodies to margaritas, everything's better with lime."

I like it, means I can tell the difference and when someone messes up my order when I order a Diet Coke when out.

As for Coke Zero tasting like regular Coke, I find the former disgusting to taste, where as I do like the latter. Of course I prefer Pepsi Max.

Honestly I don't know. It's been long since I've tasted one. I can tell you more after my vacation in June. I'd like to try some drinks in the hotel bar. I have to wait until I know what exactly they offer, though.

I can't stand beer.. yuck.. don't know why but I hate it.. a good port is more my thing, Warre's Otima is great, Kopke also has a few great ports.

^ Natty Ice ?!? :barf:

;) Q2
Clearly you've tried it. Maybe that was that guy's first time and nobody tried to warn him LOL But it's a case so maybe he's cheap, has or hasn't tried it, and is about to dump it on unsuspecting party guests. hehe.
