That's quite clever. (And I agree, even though I must admit that Coolio's song got me interested in Pachelbel's Canon, which became one of my favourite pieces of music ever)
I didn't see where it started, but it would seem that the intent is to bait other members... which is why it is funny that moderators are taking part in it.
Personally, I find it sad that people couldn't just be happy with having a good movie that they enjoyed. These days, it seem that people are only truly satisfied if they can add to other people's unhappiness.
Frankly, it is best to ignore them and go about discussing/sharing Trek in what ever form brings you the most enjoyment.
hmm well then if the people who dont like the movie would just leave it at why they dont like it ; instead of adding in stuff like no real fan of star trek would like the film; only newbies would like the film ,only people who like mindless action films would like the film.
there have been pretty much a steady stream of insults from about half of those who didnt like it directed at fans who do .
