What's with all the 'Canon Violation' avatars?

I love all the funny avatars posted here. We should have an avatar theme week in Miscellaneous more often. 
Mine is inspired by Russell T Davies' recent disclosure that he would have liked to do a crossover with Star Trek. Since Enterprise was the series that would have been current (if it hadn't been cancelled) I made an avatar of the Doctor with Captain Archer:
